Fundraising Scheme
WAISA is committed to assisting ALL skaters to reach their full potential. We recognise that this is an expensive sport and are happy to announce an opportunity for you to directly benefit financially by participation in WAISA organised fundraising activities.
All you need to do is register as an active participant in our fundraising activities to begin to accumulate real dollars to assist in your skating expenses whether it is for competition or test entry fees, membership fees, Interstate travel to ISA events, International travel to ISU events, equipment or skating lessons.
WAISA will organise events throughout the year such as Movie Nights and Quiz Nights and all you need to do is register your name and get together a group of friends or relatives to purchase tickets for the events. From every $1.00 net profit from the tickets that you sell $0.75 will go directly into your very own fundraising account. The other $0.25 will go to support WAISA projects such as Junior Development, Officials Development and funding of the State Representatives and Synchronised Teams to the Australian Figure Skating Championships. Every dollar raised will directly benefit WAISA members.
